Memories from Taining for Lake Placid 2006

I think I am going to start posting photos in hopes of being inspired to use this site more often. This is a picture of Jenn and I during a Bike Packing Clinic prior to Miami Man. Maybe I will post that report so I have more verbage up here.



The second photo is from Snake Head Road in Gainsville, VA where Casey, Jenn and I decided to be explorers and follow a route that our bike captian, Susan had put together. We were a little behind the first group and didn't realize that they had turned around and taken a new route. We decided to venture on, thinking a mile or so of gravel wasn't going to be bad....we learned the hard way. Even though the route was hard and more for mountain biking, it was REALLY beautiful and I would trade it. By the way I am giving the thumbs down in the picture.
